When you contact us
Our enquiry form prepares an email in your own mail application. Your name, email address, optional company name and message stay in the browser until you choose to send the email. The website does not submit these fields to a server or save them in a database. Search terms entered in the site search are used only in your browser.
If you send an email, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, discuss your requirements and prepare a proposal. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Why we use information
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and managing business relationships, taking account of your rights and reasonable expectations. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, we use information where necessary to take those steps. We may also keep information where required by law. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for a marketing mailing list.
Hosting, email and sharing
The website is prepared for hosting by IONOS. Hosting involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages and request times to deliver and protect the service. Sending an email involves your email provider and our mailbox provider. We do not sell enquiry information. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.
The final mailbox provider, hosting log settings and any international-transfer arrangements are still being confirmed. This notice will be updated when those arrangements are established.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting relationship, taking account of outstanding issues, applicable record-keeping duties and the need to establish or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted. The detailed email and hosting-log retention arrangements are being finalised.
Cookies and tracking
The supplied website does not set cookies, use browser storage, run analytics or load advertising trackers. Its fonts and images are hosted with the site. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy practices. If analytics, embedded services or other tracking features are added, this notice and any required consent controls will need to change.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, have it erased, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Contact hello@labelledby.uk to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month, subject to permitted extensions.
